The nonviable marine Penicillium janthinellum sp.(P1) mycelium was used as biosorbent for anionic dye Congo Red wastewater treatment.The effect of biosorbent size, pH, rotational speed, and salt concentration on the decolorization efficiency was investigated. The results showed that the removal efficiency of Congo Red was improved with smaller nonviable P1 mycelium size.
