【Abstract】 Zhao Yuan-ren’s researches into degrees of meaning can be summed up in four aspects:the length of forms being essential measure of richness of their meanings;the diversity of forms determining complexity of their meanings;repetition and redundance of forms reducing their meanings;high frequency of a form use reducing its meaning.It is hold by Chao that these aspects,especially frequency of form uses affecting the degrees of meanings,cannot be neglected in translations.更多还原
