Al-2Ti-B-Ce和Al-5Ti-B-Ce中间合金对工业纯铝晶粒细化效果的研究
Research on grain refinement of Al-2Ti-B-Ce and Al-5Ti-B-Ce master alloys on industrial pure aluminum
【摘要】 以K2Ti F6、KBF4、Ce为添加剂,采用氟盐法制取Al-2Ti-B-Ce和Al-5Ti-B-Ce中间合金细化剂。通过X射线衍射仪(XRD)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、能谱仪(EDS)、金相显微镜等检测和观察,研究了制取的Al-Ti-B-Ce中间合金中所生成的第二相,并且把制得的细化剂按不同的添加量对工业纯铝进行细化。结果表明,Al-2Ti-B-Ce和Al-5Ti-B-Ce中间合金均对工业纯铝产生明显的细化作用;Al-2Ti-B-Ce和Al-5Ti-B-Ce中间合金的最佳添加质量分数均为0.1%。采用直线截点法测量,经Al-2Ti-B-Ce中间合金细化后的纯铝的最小晶粒为81.81μm;经Al-5Ti-B-Ce中间合金细化后的铝的最小晶粒为59.46μm。
【Abstract】 Al-2Ti-B-Ce and Al-5Ti-B-Ce master alloy refiners were prepared by the fluoride salt method with K2 Ti F6,KBF4,and Ce as additives. The second phase of the Al-Ti-B-Ce master alloy was researched by the X-ray diffraction( XRD),the scanning electron microscopy( SEM),the energy dispersive spectroscopy( EDS),and the optical microscopy,etc. And the refiners prepared were added in different amounts for refining the industrial pure Al. It is found that both Al-2Ti-B-Ce and Al-5Ti-B-Ce master alloys have obvious refinement effect when different amounts are added into industrial pure aluminum. The optimum mass fraction of Al-2Ti-B-Ce and Al-5Ti-B-Ce master alloys is 0. 1% respectively. Measured by the linear intercept method,the average minimum grain of the aluminum is 81. 81μm which is refined by Al-2Ti-B-Ce and 59. 46μm by Al-5Ti-B-Ce.
