【Abstract】 Under the framework of systemic functional linguistics, this paper uses the theory of mood metaphor to make a contrastive analysis between Six Chapters of a Floating Life and its English version. It shows that mood metaphor is important for discourse communication in the aspect of interpersonal meaning and realistic meaning.更多还原
