水声信道中LDPC码和Turbo码性能比较研究

【摘要】 信道纠错编码对提高水声通信系统的误比特性能具有重要意义.将信道译码器和自适应判决反馈均衡器级连,比较研究了非规则LDPC码、(3,6)规则LDPC码和Turbo码在浅海水声信道中的性能.结果表明:短码长时,三种纠错编码的性能基本相同,但随着码长的增大,非规则LDPC码的性能明显优于Turbo码和规则LDPC码.当码长8000,误比特率10-4时,非规则LDPC码的性能比Turbo码和规则LDPC码分别提高了约0.23和0.33dB.

【Abstract】 Channel error-correct coding is very important for underwater acoustic communication systems to improve their bit error rate performance.Combining channel decoder with adaptive decision feedback equalizer,this paper compares performance of an irregular LDPC code,(3,6)-irregular LDPC code and a Turbo code over multipath shallow water acoustic channel.Computer simulations show that the three channel codes have almost the same performances at the short code length.However,the irregular LDPC code obtains much more performance improvement than the Turbo code and the regular LDPC code with the increase of code length.Performance of the irregular LDPC code is 0.23 and 0.33 dB better than that of the Turbo code and the regular code at the code length of 4000 and the bit error rate of 10-4.
