【Abstract】 This paper proposes that the head nouns in Korean relative clauses(RC) may be classified into six types semantically,including those referring to persons,events,things,time,location and manner.It is argued that,in terms of discourse functions,RCs with head nouns referring to persons and things mainly assume the function of referent-naming,while the primary function of RCs with event-referring head nouns is referent-tracking.更多还原
