【Abstract】 Based on the text of Angela Carter’s The Company of Wolves, the thesis carries out a study of Gilles Deleuze’s theory of becoming-animal, holding that Carter’s story attempts to find the animated world of becoming in between fairy tales and gothic terror. Overthrowing binary logic of reason and making use of the unique narrative time, Carter creates a field of becoming-animal in the text where becoming-animal deploys continuously between wolf and man, while parodying Red Riding Hood.更多还原
