【Abstract】 Scientific metaphors,which have been determined by the scientific community,are very important for the development of science and technology. This paper explores the reasons for the creation of scientific metaphors and investigates the functions of scientific metaphors from the perspective of conceptual metaphor theory.It points out the duty of the translator is to understand the nature of conceptual metaphor and translate the metaphorical language into the target language. With some illustrations,this paper offers a new perspective on the translation of scientific metaphor.更多还原
