【Abstract】 Universities of science and technology( applied sciences) in Taiwan region belong to higher vocational technical education system,which is an indispensible part of the higher education system in Taiwan. The founding and development of the universities were rooted in the requirement of the economical development of Taiwan,which plays a key role in Taiwan’s industry transition and upgrade and industrial technological progress. Part of Mainland local undergraduate universities are presently transforming into universities of applied sciences. It is of great practical significance to understand the establishment background of the educational mode of Taiwan universities of applied sciences and draw experiences from them.更多还原
