See the world from snail’s eyes The snail symbolic significance in Kew Gardens
【Abstract】 In Kew Gardens Virginia Woolf breaks away from the traditional story-telling and presents to us readers a series of seemingly fragmentary stories. The appearance and the movement of a small snail succeed in making the fragmentary stories into a whole, and more importantly, the snail can be interpreted as the symbol of harmony in nature, the passage of time and the meaning of life.
