光纤通道流量控制方法及其性能分析
Flow Control Method and Performance Analysis of Fibre Channel
【摘要】 针对航天应用中光纤通道(Fibre Channel,FC)传输效率的优化问题,提出交换式拓扑下的通用流量控制模型,设计了一种FC-2层的流量控制方法。研究了交换式拓扑下信用值设置和节点间距离、帧长度、节点处理时间等诸多因素之间的关系,推导出最优信用值和最大传输效率的通用计算方法。结合实际应用需求进行仿真,建议数据区长度使用2048byte,信用设置不大于10,同时尽量减少帧间隔时间。将文章提出的方法应用到某航天任务中,实物测试系统的测试结果表明,推导出的计算方法合理可行,可以在优化网络资源的同时有效提高网络性能。
【Abstract】 Focusing on the FC(fibre channel)optimization problem of transmission efficiency in space application,this paper proposes a generic flow control model in FC-SW(FC switch fabric)topology and designs a flow control method in FC-2.By researching the relationship between the credit value,transmission distance,frame length and node processing time in FC-SW topology,the paper derives a general method for calculating the optimal credit value and the maximum transmission efficiency.According to the actual application requirements and simulation results,this paper suggests using 2048 bytes as the data field length and the credit value no more than 10,while minimizing the frame interval.With an application in a space mission,the system test results show that the calculation method is reasonable and feasible,and it can improve network performance effectively and optimize resource at the same time.
