【Abstract】 The implementation of the policy of selecting university students to the countryside has significant system value and practical value from the strategic consideration of training socialist builders and successors and promoting building a new socialist countryside. But on the whole, the effect is not ideal. There are still many problems about the selecting and training mechanism, the student officials’ working and living conditions, and their evaluation and incentive mechanism. Therefore, we should vigorously improve the policy of selecting university students to be village officials. To be specific, the first thing is to establish and improve the system of selection and appointment of village officials from college graduates; the second is to provide more effective political stimulus and material support measures for village officials from college graduates; the third is to bring the training system of village officials from college graduates into the cultivation system of the reserve team of Party cadres; the fourth is to coordinate different types of college students to the rural grassroots; the fifth is to link the plan of selecting village officials from college students to the "first secretary" system of rural grassroots party organizations and the system of cadres’ serving in a lower level unit for a period while retaining one’s position in the previous unit.更多还原
