Recently in China, unemployment insurance of urban residents is carried out under the dual unemployment insurance system, which is typical of Chinese characteristics. Such a conduct is proved successful in that it can help overcome the difficulties in life and promote the reemployment of the unemployed. However, due to the complex cases of the unemployment, such a system has caused some controversy. Thus, this study is to figure out the problems and due reasons, and to provide some suggestions accordingly.
