【Abstract】 The artists of Wuqiang New Year paintings creatively combine the unique style of New Year paintings with the aesthetic connotation of couplets, forming a new kind of couplets with the features of Wuqiang New Year paintings. Such new couplets have aesthetic and educational functions as well as rich poetic artistic conception. They embody the sharing principle in design, skillfully using the special nature of Chinese characters and combining the traditional Chinese landscape painting with the paintings of flowers and birds. These couplets, in which symbolic meanings are obviously expressed and the flavour of Chinese calligraphy is embodied, have the beauty of spacial forms over time and space.更多还原
