【Abstract】 Social functions and values of Chaoshan folk dragon dance is studied mainly through literature research and logical analysis, from the perspectives of folklore, physical education and sociology. The study shows that social functions of Chaoshan folk dragon dance include perfecting personal quality, fostering team spirit, and strengthening national cohesion.
