【Abstract】 Air temperature is one of the most important external environmental factors that affect livestock’s physiological functions and productive performance. Dairy cattle are homeothermic animals,either too high or too low temperature will cause the dairy cattle to produce a stress,which leads to adverse effects. Since dairy cattle are cold- resistant and heat- intolerant,most national and abroad studies focus on heat stress of dairy cattle while ignoring the damage of cold stress to dairy cattle. This paper summarizes the effect of cold stress on the physiological functions and productive performance of dairy cattle.更多还原
