Leibniz triple systems are related to Leibniz algebras in the same way that Lie triple systems related to Lie algebras. So it is natural to prove analogs of results from the theory of Lie triple systems to Leibniz triple systems. Centroids play an important role in studying algebraic structure. The definition of centroids of Leibniz triple systems is given,furthermore,general results on centroids of Leibniz triple systems are developed.
