【Abstract】 In order to investigate the content of polyphosphate( Polyp) in bacteria and active sludge,a direct quantitative method using DAPI dyeing combined with fluorescence detection in a microplate reader was probed.When bacteria strains possessing significant different levels of intracellular polyp were used as the testing samples,identical results were obtained by using this method and traditional microscopic observation. Further quantitative analysis with bacteria samples possessing similar amount of intracellular polyp showed that this measuring method had higher sensitivity compared with other methods,microscopic observation,total phosphate analysis in the bulk liquid,etc.更多还原
