【Abstract】 China’s first remote sensing satellite carried a visible panoramic camera, it for the first time achieved the ground target from space, making China the third country after the United States and the Soviet Union mastering the technology of space camera. This paper reviews the development history of the camera, and for the first time discloses the main task, the scheme selection, the basic principles, the main parameters of the camera, and the quality of the camera, and it’s evaluation.
