双圆筒曝气阴极微生物燃料电池处理猪场废水研究
Study on Double Cylinder Microbial Fuel Cell with an Aerated Cathode for Treatment of Piggery Wastewater
【摘要】 通过构建双圆筒曝气阴极微生物燃料电池(MFC)系统并处理实际猪场废水,可使能源利用与环境保护紧密结合。研究了系统的启动过程,启动完成后微生物在电极表面的形态,以及稳定运行过程中输出电压的变化、对COD的去除效果、最大功率密度、表观内阻、库仑效率。结果表明:采用实际猪场废水成功启动MFC后,阳极表面附着大量的球菌。稳定运行一个周期,能够获得700mV的稳定输出电压,对COD的去除率为74.8%,库仑效率为12.8%,最大输出功率密度为1.02W/m~2,表观内阻为23.25Ω,开路电压为821.5mV。而在优化条件下,能获得600mV的稳定输出电压,对COD的去除率为73.8%,库仑效率为20.9%。
【Abstract】 The energy utilization and environmental protection could be combined by building a system integrating a double cylinder microbial fuel cell( MFC) with an aerated cathode to treat the actual piggery wastewater. The start-up process of the system,the morphology of the microorganisms on the surface of the electrode after the completion of the start-up,the change of output voltage during the period of stable operation,the COD removal efficiency,the maximum power density,apparent internal resistance,coulomb efficiency and so on were all investigated. The results showed that after the MFC system was successfully started by using the actual piggery wastewater,a large number of spherical bacteria adhered on the surface of the anode electrode. After a period of stable operation,700 m V of stable output voltage could be achieved,with the COD removal rate of 74. 8%,the coulomb efficiency of 12. 8%,the maximum output power of 1. 02 W / m~2,the apparent internal resistance of 23. 25 Ω and the open circuit voltage of 821. 5 m V. Under optimized experimental conditions,600 m V of stable output voltage could be achieved,with the COD removal rate of 73. 8% and the coulomb efficiency of 20. 9%.
