【Abstract】 Single hyrid ‘Shenyu236’was crossed by using S39 as the female parent and A58 as the male parent of Shenyang Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Plant height was 280 ~312 cm. The characteristics of Shenyu236 were ear barrel type, cob red, grain yellow and horse tooth type. The growth period was 132 days.The variety had the characteristics of high and stable yield,lodging resistance,disease resistance and widely adaptability.
