【Abstract】 The government is the key provider of the rural public cultural service in a dominant position,but the process of providing rural public cultural services also encountered many obstacles and bottlenecks. According to the Guangdong provincial government for rural public cultural service status,this paper discusses problems the government meets,for example,deviations in understanding of cultural construction in rural areas,the supply and demand contradiction and the imperfect culture management system.
