开源软件系统中社会-技术网络的协同演化分析

【摘要】 收集了开源软件项目Vuze 10个连续版本的源代码与开发者交互历史数据,构建对应的软件网络与开发者网络,依次从网络规模、平均度、最短路径和聚类系数,以及社区结构4个方面对比了两类网络的协同演化。结果表明:软件网络以3-4个版本周期性增长,而开发者网络呈明显的线性增长;整体上平均度均满足近似线性增长;"小世界"特性越来越明显,最短路径周期性下降,但开发者间局部合作更明显;模块度呈下降趋势,但开发者网络中波动更大。

【Abstract】 We attempt to discuss the issue from the perspective of socio-technique congruence.To construct the developer network and software network,we collect the source codes and developers′historical data of 10 consecutive versions from the open-source software project Vuze.Then,we compare the co-evolution of the two networks by introducing some typical parameters,i.e.,the scale,average degree,path lengths,clustering coefficient,and community structure.The results show that:the growth of software network is cyclical,about 3to 4versions a cycle,whereas the developer network shows a linear increase.Their average degree parameters meet the approximately linear increase with time as a whole.Although the local collaboration in developer network is more significant,the common"small world"characteristic becomes more obvious and their average path lengths decrease regularly.Both networks have a decreased trend of the modularity,but the fluctuation of modularity in developer network is sharper.
