是全球界线层型剖面点(GSSP)还是全球标准地层年龄(GSSA)
GLOBAL BOUNDARY STRATOTYPE SECTION AND POINTS(GSSP)OR GLOBAL STANDARD STRATIGRAPHIC AGE GSSA STRATIGRAPHIC CHART
【摘要】 通过比较不同版本的"国际年代地层表",发现2011年及以前版本的文字说明不同于2012年及以后版本的文字说明。前者客观地交待了GSSP和GSSA各自的应用范围,没有传递任何取舍的意向;2012年及以后版本的文字说明,明确地传递了GSSP要逐步取代GSSA的意向。
【Abstract】 Recently it is quite convenient to download different versions of International Chronostratigraphic Chart through internet.By comparison of different versions we found that the explanation of charts before 2011 is different from that after 2012.The explanation before 2011 only frankly gives the scopes of the application of GSSP and GSSA in the chart,and does not convey any intention;whereas versions after2012 the explanation unequivocally express that GSSA is in the process of being replaced by GSSP.
