球状晶组织的制备及其对Mg-Zn-Y-Zr合金阻尼性能的影响

【摘要】 通过对Mg-3.0%Zn-0.6%Y-0.6%Zr合金(ZWK3)进行近液相线浇注和气泡搅拌法浇注,制备了含有球状晶组织的准晶增强镁合金,并研究了球状晶组织镁合金的组织特征和阻尼性能。研究发现,在低于合金液相线10℃时进行低温浇注,合金中出现球状晶组织;通过在合金液相线下6℃进行气泡搅拌处理,得到了大量细小圆整的球状晶组织。凝固组织的形态对合金的阻尼能力具有很大影响。球状晶组织的存在使Mg-3.0%Zn-0.6Y-0.6%Zr合金(ZWK3)的阻尼性能有很大的提高,具体表现为球状晶分布越均匀,颗粒圆整度越高,对材料阻尼性能的贡献也越显著。含有球状晶组织的镁合金其阻尼行为可由G-L模型解释。

【Abstract】 Globular structure was introduced into a quasicrystal reinforced Mg-3.0%Zn-0.6%Y-0.6%Zr alloy(ZWK3) by near-liquidus casting and bubble stirring, respectively. The structure characteristics and damping capacities of the alloys were investigated. The results show that there is globular structure forming in the ZWK3 alloy when it is cast at the temperature 10 ℃ below its melting point. A large number of globular grains are obtained when the ZWK3 alloy is cast after a bubble stirring process at the temperature 6 ℃ below its melting point. The damping capacities are closely related with solidification morphology. The globular structure has obviously positive influence on damping capacities of ZWK3 alloys. Specifically, the more rounded and uniformly distributed the globular grains, the bigger contribution on damping capacities of the ZWK3 alloy. All the damping behavior of the tested ZWK3 alloys can be explained through the G-L model.
