【Abstract】 The "Futian Incident"is a tragic event in an extraordinary era during the Second Revolutionary Civil War. "Futian Incident,"which shocked the Central Soviet Area and the whole Party and the whole army,happened in the Southwestern Jiangxi Soviet Area in mid December 1930. Shortly after,the Futian Incident was designated as a counter-revolutionary incident. This eventually led to the execution of the incident leaders and the disintegration of the Twentieth Red Army. In a long time,a mysterious veil has been kept over the Futian Incident:why was the incident designated as a counter- revolutionary incident? How was it designated as a counter- revolutionary incident? Who should shoulder the major responsibility?
