【Abstract】 Objective To analyze the correlation between dyslipidemia and vascular cognitive impairment, and to explore its pathogenesis, so as to conduct early prevention and treatment. Methods A total of 70 vascular cognitive impairment patients were taken as the observation group, and other 70 healthy people in health examination were taken as the control group. The blood lipid levels was assessed in the two groups, and mini-mental state examination(MMSE) and Montreal cognitive assessment(Mo CA) were applied in evaluation of the observation group. Results The observation group had higher levels of low density lipoprotein(LDL) and total cholesterol(TC) than the control group, and the difference had statistical significance between the two groups(t=4.685, 4.135, P<0.05). The levels of LDL and TC were negatively correlated with MMSE and Mo CA scores(P<0.05). Conclusion There is a close correlation between dyslipidemia and vascular cognitive impairment.
