【Abstract】 As for Millikan’s oil drop experiment and the Millikan-Ehrenhaft dispute, logical-empiricists highly praised the superb skill of Millikan and his perfect data, historicists treated it as the typical case of "theory-laden observation", while the contemporary new experimentalists try to defend Millikan’s data selection by means of experiment itself. This shows that in different times and under the infl uence of different philosophical ideas, different interpretation can arise. There is no final historical evaluation as for the same issue in the history of science.更多还原
