【Abstract】 There is much controversy over the existence of copyright system in ancient China. Based on the typical Negativism, this paper employs a dissimilar approach to this issue. In ancient China, there were various publishers and three types of copies, namely, the officially carved, the privately carved and the workshop carved, with their corresponding copyright protection mechanisms under the specific politics and culture traditions. Thus, copyright systems actually came into being in ancient China, though not the copyright system in a Western or Modern sense.更多还原
