The use of bioinformatics has broadened in the post-genome era.There are bioinformatics databases covering an increasing number of species.The number of these databases is increasing and their functionality is constantly improving.Based on primary informatics databases,massive secondary databases are being developed and used.These databases have spurred the analysis of viruses,the identification and prediction of genes,and the diagnosis of diseases.
