预压紧力下叠层铝合金钻孔层间毛刺试验研究
Experimental Investigation of the Effect of Clamping Force on the Inter-layer Drilling Burr of Stacked Aluminum Alloy Sheets
【摘要】 航空航天部件制造和装配中,叠层材料得到了广泛的使用。叠层材料通常使用钻削方式进行制孔。钻孔过程中产生的层间毛刺严重影响装配的质量,去除层间毛刺消耗额外的时间和成本。在可控环形预压紧力的作用下,对7075-T6和2024-T3铝合金薄板组成的叠层材料进行干式钻削试验。利用共聚焦显微镜测量了在不同压紧力大小条件下层间毛刺的尺寸参数。试验表明,通过施加预压紧力能够显著抑制层间毛刺的高度。随着压紧力的不断增大,预压紧力对层间毛刺高度的进一步抑制效果减弱。同时发现,预压紧力对毛刺厚度和毛刺根厚度的影响并不十分显著。最后根据最大允许毛刺高度选择可采用的压紧力大小区间。
【Abstract】 Multi-layered materials are widely used in aerospace manufacturing and assembly. Drilling is a frequently utilized operation to create holes in multi-layered materials. The inter-layer drilling burrs formed during the drilling operation can severely affect the assembling quality,and the de-burring processes consume extra time and cost. With adjustable annular clamping force,dry drilling experiments on 7075-T6 and 2024-T3 double-layered aluminum alloy sheets were effectuated. Parameters of the inter-layer burr size at different clamping forces were measured with a confocal microscope. It was experimentally concluded that the clamping force can significantly reduce the inter-layer burr height. Further burr height reduction effect weakens with the augmentation of clamping force. Meanwhile,the effect of the clamping force on inter-layer burr thickness and burr root thickness was not significant. The interval of clamping force was eventually acquired according to the maximum acceptable inter-layer burr height.
