【Abstract】 Postpartum hemorrhage of refractoriness continues to be the leading cause of maternal mortality. When the conservative treatment strategies fail, emergency peripartum hysterectomy has been regard as a life-saving procedure in severe postpartum obstetric hemorrhage.
