【Abstract】 As a leading figure in contemporary North American ecology of the Marx doctrine,James O Conner made a profound exposition and criticism on the capitalist environmental crisis. He explains the inevitability of global ecological crisis from the capitalist accumulation,capitalist use of technology,and ecological colonialism. The dual contradictions of capitalism interior existence decide that it is unable to overcome this crisis,and the realization of ecological socialism is the best way to break the ecological crisis. Comprehensive study and analysis of ecological criticism of O Conner is of great significance for us to handle the relation of economic development and ecological protection and promote socialist ecological progress.更多还原
