基于光梳的弹性光网络ROADM上下路收发系统
Optical Comb-based Add/Drop scheme for ROADM in EON
【摘要】 本文提出了一种适用于弹性光网络(EON)的基于光梳的可重构光分插复用器(ROADM)上下路收发系统,该系统用光梳和可变带宽波长选择开关(BV-WSS)组成ROADM上下路模块,代替传统结构上下路模块的大量的独立激光器、功率分束器和WSS,极大地降低了ROADM上下路系统复杂度和成本。本文搭建了上路发射和下路接收实验平台,验证了系统的可行性。实验证明该系统支持宽频带单个子载波到超级波带的ROADM上路发射和下路接收,具有配置灵活、简单经济的特点。
【Abstract】 We propose a ROADM comb-enabled Add/Drop scheme for elastic optical networks(EON).The scheme replaces tradition transponder-side laser array that is composed of a lot of lasers,power splitters and WSS with the optical comb and BV-WSS.The scheme can significantly reduce the system complexity and overall cost.We present proof-of-principle demonstrations of both flexible Add and Drop functionality for separated and continuous subbands by experiment.The scheme supports wide-range from single channel to superchannel Add/Drop functionality and shows its flexibility and simplicity.
