【Abstract】 Ever since Scotland was absorbed into the British Empire,the anxiety of independence has never died away. Even though 300 years went by,the independence problem turned out to be puzzling nowadays from 2007 when the SNP came into power. Inspired by the coming referendum in September,2014,this paper plans to explain the Scotland independence in four dimension: the historical dispute,the politics games,the pragmatic tradition as well as multiple long- time benefits. Only by teasing apart this complex trait and its relation to Scotland independence will the paper explore the cause,British government’s attitude and the possible future clearly.更多还原
