【Abstract】 Being the carrier of culture, New Year Pictures represent the real mirror of the society in history, reflect every aspect of culture, and cover a wide range of topics with fresh and vivid characters, thus is well-accepted as an art form with education function by the people. In modern society, when the New Year Pictures no longer enjoy its popularity as it did in the past, it is still possible to discover the clothing and ornament culture in history by examining ancient New Year Pictures.
