【Abstract】 The present bleaching technology of stain and pulp were introduced. The bleaching activity and potential application of six classes of bleaching catalysts, including manganese salts, manganese-triazacyclononane complexes, manganese Schiff-base complexes, manganese cross-bridged macrocyclic complexes,manganese complexes with polypyridineamine ligands, and iron complexes with pentadentate nitrogen-donor ligands were discussed.
