【Abstract】 A 148-year-old fallen trunk of Bretschneidera sinensis was discovered incidentally in natural forest and analyzed by researchers. The results showed that during the whole growth period of Bretschneidera sinensis,the current annual increment of tree height reached the highest point at the age of 65,and intersected at the curve of average increment of height at the age of 80; the current annual increment of tree DBH reached the maximum value at the age of 70,and intersected at the curve of average increment of DBH at the age between 95 and 100. At the same time the current annual increment of timber volume reached the maximum value at the age of 80,and intersected at the curve of average increment of timber volume at the age between 135 and 140,and this period of time could be treated as the right time for the mature age of timber volume of Bretschneidera sinensis.更多还原
