【Abstract】 Taiwan in 1960s saw a rapid change of its political and economic systems and the fusion and conflict of multiple cultures.The loss of human beings became fore-grounded in this multi-cultural chaos.Advocating that drama is written for human beings,Yao Yiwei first broke the ice in the drama circle.Human beings which had been long lost were rediscovered in his plays.For the first time after the anti-communist and-Russia wave,Taiwan theatre began to touch upon the spirit of characters.His tortuous personal life,painful jail experience and the trauma caused by the separation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait triggered off his writings,and his mind was transcended in his reflection on life and existence.更多还原
