【Abstract】 British land law is the core of British property laws. It plays a very important role in the British and American law system. By means of historical interpretation of such concepts as land,tenure and estate,we can see that the factor of time is playing an important part in the development of the a British land law,estate is really the right bunch of land rights and interests,tenure is the foundation of the land rights and interests mechanism,and that the existing rules have been deduced from all this.
