【Abstract】 The guideline on the diagnosis and treatment of acute pancreatitis is the most important reference for those who treat severe acute pancreatitis. However,the current discrepancy on the opinion leads to different cure rate of such disease.The current review focused on the background and necessity of the new classification of acute pancreatitis,the progress of treatment.
