用甲基橙指示剂改进离子交换法测定水泥中SO3

【摘要】 在离子交换酸碱滴定法测定水泥SO3的过程中,采用甲基橙为指示剂替代酚酞,并用硫酸钡重量法进行对比分析。结果表明,以酚酞为指示剂时测定结果的误差在0.17%~0.54%之间,标准偏差为0.09%;以甲基橙为指示剂时测定结果的误差在-0.03%~0.08%之间,标准偏差为0.05%。以甲基橙替代酚酞,可有效避免游离硅酸的干扰,且终点更加敏锐,重现性和准确性都显著提高。

【Abstract】 The methyl orange has been used as the indicator to replace phenolphthalein in the measurement of SO3in cement by ion exchange of acid-base titration, and those results have been compared with barium sulfate gravimetric method for accuracy. The results showed that the error of the measurement dates was 0.17% ~ 0.54% when using phenolphthalein as indicator, and the standard deviation was 0.09%. The error of the measurement dates was-0.03% ~ 0.08% when using methyl orange as indicator, and the standard deviation was 0.05%. Using methyl orange to replace phenolphthalein could effectively avoid the interference of free silicate, and the end-point indication was more sensitive. The reproducibility and accuracy of ion exchange acid-base titration would be significantly improved when using methyl orange as indicator.
