索马里流系区域海温的年际变化

【摘要】 利用SODA资料对索马里流系区域海表温度(SST)的年际变化及其影响原因进行了研究。结果表明,春、秋季和冬季的索马里流系区SST呈现全区一致型的变化,但是夏季除了有全区一致型的变化外,还存在南北反位相的变化。夏季海温的这2种变化类型与ENSO、印度洋偶极子及印度季风存在密切关系。通过合成分析发现,在夏季全区一致型时,6月份热带西南印度洋、索马里沿岸的风应力旋度和大小与阿拉伯海均呈现相反的变化特点,夏季索马里流系区域海温变化主要受上升流和蒸发共同影响;在南北反位相型时,5月份的风应力变化信号最明显,且显著区域的位置和大小与全区一致型时的6月份不完全对应;夏季索马里流系南区SST异常可以利用上升流和蒸发异常进行解释,但北区的SST异常并非如此,其它因素应该起主导作用。

【Abstract】 Based on SODA data,the interannual variations of the sea temperature in the Somalia current region are studied.It is showed that the temperature changes in phase over the whole region in spring,autumn and winter.But there are two patterns of SST variability in August.One is in phase over the whole region,the other is out of phase between the north and south region of the Somalia current.ENSO,IOD and IMI impact this two patterns of Somali SST together.Composite analysis shows that for the in phase pattern,the signals of wind stress are obvious in the Somali coast,the southwest of the tropical Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea in June.The upwelling and evaporation effects can both be used to explain its SST variations.While for the opposite pattern,the wind stress signals are obvious in May and the magnitude and location are not correspond to that of in phase case in June,and the SST variations in northern part of the whole region can nrot be explained by upwelling or evaporation.
