【Abstract】 " The G irl with a Pearl Earring",also know n as the " Mona Lisa" in the north,is a painting by Vermeer Johannes,the Dutch master of Baroque painting in the 17 th century. The painting is quite pure and peaceful,w ith a young beautiful girl looking back as if to say something. In 1999,American w riter,Tracy Chevalier,based his novel on this painting and leapt to the bestseller list. In 2004,British director,Peter Webber,specializing in historical themes,adapted the novel into a film and reaped many aw ards. The film artistically recreates the life scenes of Vermeer’s times,using a highly artistic and aesthetic lens language of the Baroque style,mobilizing all means to create the exquisite sense of visual experience. It skillfully embeds many of Vermeer’s paintings and even the painting process into the narrative,using numerous scenery and close-up shots. The system of double screen light gives each footage a delicate touch like a Baroque painting. Consequently,the w hole movie resembles a long axis of Baroque paintings and produces a perfect aesthetic effect.更多还原
