【Abstract】 As a Bt transgenic cotton variety, SCRC28 has been identified as the dominant cultivar in the Yellow River region since it was officially released in 2006. SCRC28 is generally believed to be broadly adaptive, easily cultivated as well as stableand high-yielding, thus being widely accepted by both farmers and seed companies. It has been playing an important role in cotton production in recent years in China. In this review, the breeding history and experience of SCRC28 was summarized. The characteristics of high- and stable-yielding and the underlying mechanism were also summarized and discussed. From a perspective of breeding and cultivation, this review would provide useful references for the breeding of good stocks in the future.更多还原
