【Abstract】 In essence, in the history of the Chinese socialist construction, the CPC initially imitated the Soviet socialist model adopted by Stalin, then identified some problems and gradually broke up the shackles of this model, and finally combined the Marxist universal principles with China’s concrete practice and adopted the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It is by reflecting and breaking through the Soviet model that the second generation of leaders of the CPC with Deng Xiaoping as the core and their successors gradually conceived and have been developing socialism with Chinese characteristics.
