【Abstract】 Influenced by the thoughts and practices of welfarism in the U.K.,the British colonial authorities began to strengthen administrative intervention on Singapore society from the end of the nineteenth century,from individualism to orderly management.According to the actual situation in Singapore,the colonial government had promulgated a series of social policy,including some policies of education,health,housing,social welfare,labour,immigration,population and so on.So,a system of social policy and a mechanism of social management had been established,which were relatively complete,stability and continuity.They were valuable legacy for the social governance of the PAP.更多还原
