According to the theory of pain due to non-nourishment or obstruction,headache can be divided into deficiency and excess syndromes.Its pathogenesis is brain failing to be nourished and imbalance between yin and Yang caused by Qi,fire,phlegm,deficiency and blood stasis invasion.The treatment should eliminate evils,dredge collaterals,nourish Zang-fu organs and calming heart throughout.
