【Abstract】 According to the present situation of Vehicle Specialized English course in higher vocational college, the existing problems in the teaching and learning process are analyzed in this article. To solve these problems, it is necessary to change the curriculum system by making the teaching aim clear; it is essential to teach students in accordance with their aptitude, and to teach them by different English level classification; it is to improve teaching level by smoothing the teaching design process, by writing higher level textbook, by using various kinds of teaching method, and by strengthening the construction of the teaching staff.
