【Abstract】 Network science,starting its rise at the turn of the century,has achieved significant progress over the past fifteen years,and begun the transfer to network engineering.With the coming of big data era,data science has become a new area which attracts a lot of attention,and it also brings more oppertunities and challenges to network science and engineering.In this paper,we try to explore the inspiration of the development of network science to the rise of data science.We also introduce a number of recent researches on the data-driven social network analysis,with the aim to explore the influence of data science on humankind.In order to realize the vision of’data,making a better world’,we need not only the development of science and techlogy,but also the joint efforts of human beings.更多还原
